Construction Phase Project Management
Our director, with John Burrow & Partners at the time, was Assistant Resident Engineer, on this 54km long road project, partly along the side of an escarpment in Mufindi, Iringa in Tanzania, with responsibilities from quality assurance, valuations, claims analysis etc. Funded and implemented by the European Union (EEC at the time) on behalf of the government of Tanzania, the road provides the necessary infrastructure for log hauling from the forests at the top of the escarpment to the Mufindi pulp & paper mill at the bottom of the escarpment, and also better access for the public. Project undertaken in Mufindi, Iringa in Tanzania.
